Why do we need a rhythm of prayer?
Each group gave up to 3 answers, and they have been grouped together here:
Because we love God:
to have undivided time with God
to make "special time" (like kids with their parents), to get God's heartbeat
to catch God's heart and become more aware of his presence
Because we want to grow together:
unity / shared vision / one heart and mind
to connect to God together
to create a structure to allow the dwelling of the Holy Spirit
Because it will help us pray more:
without a rhythm we won't pray
to prioritise prayer
Jesus did it
prayer is good - "pray without ceasing"
continuity - life habit and longevity
Because without prayer we won't see transformation:
so we see what God is doing and more stuff happensÂ
without it we won't get the good news of Jesus to all in the city
it is a weapon, it will get things done
