Aug-26 Living a (small) life of prayer

A small gathering in Watts Park and on zoom this week. A couple of bits of news...

Evening prayer

A few of us have been enjoying meeting on zoom for 15 mins at 9pm to pray for the city using the prayer topic sent out by Tara on the Southampton Prayer Line. It is a good rhythm, and reminds us of the Hope bell and just ringing out the call to Hope in God over the city EVERY DAY! And doing this TOGETHER is  wonderful. We invited all the community to consider joining from time to time.

Living together to pray

We have an encouragement in our thoughts about the L E A P vision for living together as little houses of prayer. This is a message that was sent to someone in another house of prayer and forwarded to us on social media:

I had a dream last year -  a really big plane ✈️ in the sky blew up - I pointed at it and said look everyone the airplane has blown up!  Then I saw hundreds of parachutes 🪂 coming out of the smoke in the sky many many many of them all over for miles when the parachutes got closer  they turned into dandelions (fluffy ones) floating down and the seeds were coming off of them individually and when they hit the ground they were separate seeds by then ....  and I woke up

The Lord showed me the big plane was the bigger international ministries and something was coming that would disable the bigger work (COVID) but many many smaller ministry’s would come out of it (smaller gatherings but many of them ) and then each of those smaller gatherings would turn into seed and there will be an expanse if planting across the earth 🌍 of  🌱 houses of prayer that will be found in remote places and out of the way places and on the mountains and the valleys. The islands and mainlands, the cities and countryside.  These houses of prayer will usher in the coming of the king 👑- Jesus will hear us from heaven singing him home - he will hear the bride singing for him!  You will have heavenly rewards for being the one that sows!

This is confirmation and encouragement to spread the vision for "the small" and for living together to live a life of prayer.
