[23] Prayer focus - Summer festivals

Continuing our August pattern of worship and prayer, we began in the Sacred Space at City Life Church and spent time worshipping God, listening/joining in with 3 songs.

The theme of the worship was Jesus at the centre of everything and listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying.

Then we discussed a summer festival coming up in Southampton and if/how God wants us to get involved.

This was a time to revise and review what we have been learning about discernment.

We reviewed the discernment discipline of self-awareness by thinking about how we react to events that are based on a worldview that is different to ours.
